The Ostrava City Library organizes another of 40 events within the project Black Eyes of Ostrava.
For the next three months, starting already on Monday, 4 September, child readers of all ages can compete in a geocaching contest about the history of Ostrava. The Ostrava Geocacher competition invites children to explore the surroundings of the library at Opavská street 6111 in Ostrava – Poruba and it develops their map-reading skill. The successful will be awarded attractive board games.
The project Black Eyes of Ostrava takes place in 12 Ostrava libraries from April to November 2017 and aims at supporting informal education of the Ostrava population, spreading awareness of Ostrava’s cultural heritage and developing a positive attitude among local people to their hometown and its rich history.
